Kristen McIntosh

Building Performance Coordinator

Kristen McIntosh grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was introduced to the world of architecture at an early age.  In her formative years, she attended Pittsburgh School for the Creative and Performing Arts 6-12, where she gained an education in visual arts.  Her rich artistic background would later prepare her for matriculation into the built environment.  Holding a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tuskegee University and a Master of Science in Sustainable design from the Catholic University of America, Ms. McIntosh acquired skills in both the practical and sustainable aspects of architectural design.

Ms. McIntosh began her architectural career honing her proficiency in design development and construction documentation.  This was followed by a role as an Architectural Contractor, where she further developed her ability to manage complex project documentation and coordinate with a range of stakeholders.  Later she gained experience as a Project Manager, adeptly managing construction estimating and bidding processes, and supporting directors and managers in various capacities.

Ms. McIntosh is passionate about creating spaces that are not only functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also sustainable and environmentally responsible.  At BPA, Ms. McIntosh makes significant contributions to the built environment, one building envelope at a time.
