Airport Terminal Modernization Program

In an effort to reduce operating costs and improve travelers’ experience, the Allegheny County Airport Authority is replacing the existing landside terminal and underground tram with a new landside building that will be connected to the airside terminal.  The new terminal will include unique amenities such as outdoor recreation space, and is targeted to achieve LEED green building certification. 

BPA is providing vital building envelope QA/QC services, such as design details review, collaboration on an extensive proposed mockup and field testing program, commissioning specification writing, submittal review, issues log, and many other tasks.
