The Ohio County Development Authority has created a destination sports complex in The Highlands retail development, just outside of Wheeling, West Virginia. This complex contains a full-size turf football field under roof, and a one-acre hardwood floor gym containing six basketball courts. Add to that a large climbing wall room, an arcade, and a full-service cafeteria, and you have a place where hundreds of people can enjoy several hours of active fun!

To help the Owner achieve their high-performance building objectives, BPA provided total building commissioning, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and envelope commissioning, beginning in the design phase, and continuing through completion of construction. BPA helped to improve both architectural and engineering design, coordinated with Owner, Architect, and Contractor, conducted construction observation site visits, and planned and executed quality control testing programs.
