Total Building Commissioning

Total building commissioning is a comprehensive QA/QC program that provides owners with buildings that meet their design targets. This service ideally begins early in a project’s design phase, and continues through post-construction performance observations and ongoing monitoring.

It includes envelope commissioning, as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection commissioning, and can include ongoing monitoring-based commissioning. Total Building Commissioning can meet the prerequisite and some points in LEED rating systems, and can also meet requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. BPA staff members have CxA+BE certification from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Engineering.
